With it finally feeling a little bit like fall here in Florida, it’s time to spruce up your home for the season! To help you kickstart that fall feeling, I’ve included some of the top festive decor trends below.

#1- And the color schemes for this fall are….

Sugar Almond, Butterscotch and Dark Cheddar! These colors are popping up in fashion and in fall decor, as well. It makes sense for these warm tones to be the most popular throughout the fall because of the rich coloration and all the cozy feelings they evoke. 

#2- Velvet is in. 

From couches and chairs to curtains and even clothing, velvet is all the rage this fall. Colder weather means more comfy, soft materials. And what better way to cuddle up than on a velvet couch? Adding a little bit of this fun material to any room is sure to add an elegant fall feel to your home! 

#3- Plaid is a must.

Nothing screams fall quite like plaid. Classic and simple black and white plaid is everywhere this season – on chairs, tablecloths, curtains and couches. Adding tonal plaid to your home makes it feel so cozy and welcoming to all the guests visiting throughout the holidays. 

#4- Last but not least – pumpkins!

The season would not be complete without pumpkins, but it’s not just the classic orange ones taking the spotlight this year. Blue and light green shades are popping up in stores and at pumpkin patches this year, and I think those fit in nicely here in the sunshine state. For those who are more inclined to decorate with cooler tones, snag a few of these unique pumpkins to add the perfect flare to your home or outdoor area this season.
